MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) is a marketing strategy in which a company recruits distributors to promote and sell its products or services. The distributors are compensated for their sales and for recruiting other distributors into the company’s network. The compensation plan often includes multiple levels, allowing distributors to earn commissions on the sales made by their downline (the distributors they have recruited). MLM businesses can sell a wide range of products or services, including health supplements, beauty products, household goods, and financial services, among others. MLM businesses are sometimes also referred to as network marketing, direct selling, or referral marketing businesses.
